Red Bull driver Max Verstappen has expressed his excitement about returning to America for next week's USA Grand Prix and has also shared his love for the delicious Texan food.
Verstappen received a five-second penalty in the last race in Japan, but it didn't stop the Dutchman from securing another podium finish.
Sebastian Vettel criticised Verstappen over his driving style last week, following their collision, but the Red Bull driver is too focussed on next week's Grand Prix to think about the rest of F1.
"I am very much looking forward to going back to America, as always," Verstappen told Red Bull's official website. "The Circuit of the Americas is a very nice job. There are long straights, slow curves and fast, flowing sectors: everything you want from a circuit in one, so..."
Last season, legendary Boxing presenter Michael Buffer presented the drivers onto the grid and Verstappen enjoys these things the American organisers produce.
"They take one extra step, always," Verstappen added. "Like last year, with the introduction of the drivers."
Apart from the entertainment off the grid and the actual driving itself, there is more to enjoy according to Verstappen; referring to the local food there.
"You can really enjoy dining with all that meat and barbecue restaurants," said Verstappen, referring to the local cuisine.
