It looks like
Alexander Albon has two more races to show what he can do at
Red Bull Racing. This weekend in Portugal is one of those two and adviser
Helmut Marko was satisfied with the sixth position Albon achieved in qualifying.
Albon used the medium tyre, in contrast to his teammate
Max Verstappen. According to Marko, the softest tyre didn't feel good with Albon and he, therefore, wanted to go on the track with the medium. Marko is satisfied with the P6, he tells Sky Germany.
Benefit on Sundays
Incidentally, both Albon and Verstappen will start on the soft tyre on Sunday, while the Mercedes in front and Charles Leclerc in P4 will start on the mediums. “I think we might have an advantage by starting on the soft tyre. It will be a very interesting race," says Marko at Movistar.
