Daniil Kvyat may have been on the podium in Germany but
Helmut Marko has emphatically shut down the possibility of him switching teams this season, despite
Pierre Gasly's patchy form.
Kvyat stayed composed during all of the chaos at the
German Grand Prix as he came over the line in third place after he was overtaken by
Sebastian Vettel for second in the closing stages. It was Kvyat's first podium since the 2016
Chinese Grand Prix and his third overall but it was his first with
Toro Rosso.
Gasly meanwhile failed to finish the race as he crashed into the back of Toro Rosso driver
Alex Albon bringing his race to a premature end. After a pressure-relieving race at Silverstone Gasly's future is now back under the spotlight and after Kvyat's podium performance at the
Hockenheimring could he replace the Frenchman?
It appears not yet as Helmut Marko has revealed they will make no changes in 2019.
"We have the teams that we have and we will finish the season that way," he said as quoted by
