Felipe Massa has revealed he’s finding the change between Formula 1 and Formula E difficult following his 18th place finish at the Marrakesh ePrix.
Massa spent 15 years in Formula 1 driving for Sauber, Ferrari and Williams during that time as well as coming within touching distance of winning the World Championship in 2008.
The Brazilian is now racing for the Venturi Grand Prix team in Formula E and has admitted the change has been harder than expected.
"It’s not easy.” Said Massa to Racefans.net.
“There are so many things you have to change, especially when you're used to driving in Formula 1.
Massa has finished 17th and 18th in his two races in Formula E so far and despite struggling to adapt he believes he’s getting the grasp of things.
"I did some tests and I think, step by step, I'm starting to understand how the procedure works in Formula E.
"So, there are really several aspects that are different, even the slopes.
“There is a lot to learn, but I hope I can do things the right way.” Added the former Ferrari driver.
