Max Verstappen has been nominated for the FIA Action of the Year award for his amazing performance at Silverstone where he overtook Charles Leclerc after spending a few laps trying to catch him. The Red Bull Racing driver has won the event three times before and will hope that the public vote for him again this year.
Verstappen won the award three years in a row from 2014-2016 for a number of impressive overtakes during his career in motorsport.
In 2014 he won the award to a move on Antonio Giovinazzi in Formula 3. In 2015, the year of Verstappen's F1 debut, he picked up the award and again in 2016 after overtaking Nico Rosberg in an impressive style.
Voting is done via Facebook and a link to vote can be found here!
Oh sorry... The Ferrari's pass each other with out the Safety Car. It was a good race in Brazil.
kzik...I suggest you rewatch the entire season up to Brazil. The only driver who's crashed more than Max is Romain Grosjean.... Sooooo does Max still get your vote ?
Yes Yes.... with out Max you will be watching cars following each other..He gets my vote any day.
Based on your reply. Would I rather watch the cars follow each other with the possibility of passing each or them follow the Safety Car? Hummm! I'm going to have to give that some thought, I'll get back to you shortly.
No no...his attempted pass in Mexico truly represents his remarkable talent. Or lack thereof. No doubt the followers on this blog will stuff the ballot box...that's cool. Just wish he had a personality to match his talent. Then he'd get my vote.
