Digital racing is on the rise, partly because many are at home because of the coronavirus, as well as because of the participation of Formula 1 drivers. Every week there are several races in which several professional drivers participate, and now MotoGP will follow with a digital race.
The digital race will be held in the game MotoGP 19 and the event will take place on Sunday March 29th, Motorsport.com writes. It's a six-lap race on the Mugello circuit in which several MotoGP drivers will participate.
Confirmed names for next Sunday's race are: Valentino Rossi, Marc Marquez, Maverick Viñales, Alex Rins and Fabio Quartararo. Whether any more MotoGP riders will participate is not yet known.
The race will start Sunday at 15:00 and can be followed through various channels of MotoGP. These are YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and the official website. Before the lights go on green there will be a qualifying session of five minutes to determine the starting grid.
