Christian Horner currently has a lot on his plate. Red Bull Racing's team principal is ultimately responsible for the sporting crisis in which Max Verstappen's team finds itself. There is also still the issue with his former assistant looming in the background.

The woman accused Horner of misconduct a year ago. The team principal has always denied it, despite the surfacing of WhatsApp messages in the media by an anonymous source that were allegedly sent by him to the woman.

Horner has never acknowledged the authenticity of said texts. After two internal investigations carried out by Red Bull GmbH, the British team principal was cleared of the accusations in 2024. However, the woman disputed the independence of one of the lawyers who conducted the investigation - paid for by Red Bull.

Settlement between the woman and Red Bull?

Since the start of the case, the woman has been at home on paid leave by Red Bull Racing. It was intended that the British labor court would address the case in February next year, a report that receives little to no attention in the British media. The judge reportedly, at the request of Horner and Red Bull, prohibited the British media from reporting on the case.

However, it is now emerging there what is still ongoing, highlighting Red Bull and Horner's efforts to avoid a (potentially public) lawsuit. According to The Daily Mail, negotiations are currently underway with the woman regarding a settlement. The amount is reported to be in the millions of pounds, as the British newspaper states.
