Adrian Newey will remain attached to Red Bull Racing. The designer is said to have signed a new contract with the Milton Keynes-based team, reports Motorsport.com.
Adrian Newey's current contract at Red Bull was due to expire at the end of this calendar year. Recently, there were rumours of a departure, but so there is no sign of that anymore. No press release from Red Bull is to be expected, says Motorsport.com. The team of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez never makes statements about how long a commitment of their staff runs.
As chief technical officer, Newey heads all technical departments of Red Bull's Formula 1 team, Red Bull Advanced Technology and also the now-started Red Bull Powertrains department. Newey is the chief designer of the current RB19, which is currently dominating the circuits. Horner works closely with Pierre Waché, who is on paper the technical director.
Uhm...on any given street race...maybe!
On any given race on traditional tracks...not so much...
During a full season...very very unlikely, but technical/mechanical failures cant he ruled out!
Max's only advantage over Checo is that he is given more support by the team because Horner does not want to deal with Jos's tantrums were the team to treat both drivers fairly.
Hmm, does remind me of the board radio from Toto to Hamilton after a brilliant race from Russell and a lesser race from Lewis.
Although it seems Max doesn't really needed, unlike other drivers.
Totally. We've seen how Jos reacts when Perez betters Verstappen. He has criticised RB in the past when Max can't win.
Plus it was clear in Baku that Max is favoured when Horner needed to console Max after his failure to win, before speaking to Perez who actually won the race by beating Max.
that's your opinion. facts however is that max won the wc 2 times already where ✔o has won 5 races in his entire career. not saying his not good or anything just mentioning facts.
