Lando Norris hopes to have a good result at the Mexican Grand Prix. That is only more difficult when McLaren decides to replace his engine, which would mean that he would start from the back of the grid. According to the Brit the decision hasn't been made yet.

McLaren assumes that Norris will have to change engine one more time, so the team is busy thinking about when is the best time to do so. Although the Mexico circuit seems to be a good place, the stable only wants to judge during the free practices.

Speaking to Corriere dello Sport Norris explains that his team and he are indeed having doubts. "It's something we talk about. Almost all the other Mercedes drivers have taken a penalty. It's an ongoing discussion between our team and Mercedes about what is the best thing to do before the end of the season. Whether we replace the engine or not."

Battle between McLaren and Ferrari

Norris still has to work hard to stay ahead of Ferrari this year, as he knows himself. "At the moment Ferrari seem to have a more competitive package than us, especially in the last few weekends. They have updated the package, they seem to be a bit more competitive and things have turned a bit more in their favour. It's tough and a difficult battle. We're working hard to try and stay up front."
