Lando Norris is currently the standard-bearer of Formula 1 racing. Together with Max Verstappen he is racing all over the world online and that deserves a compliment, according to Norris himself.
In the past weeks Norris already participated in several events. He rides with Verstappen in several championships of iRacing and rFactor, but he was also featured in the series of #NotTheGP and Veloce Esports. The latter two, however, are from the F1 2019 game and Norris doesn't want to participate anymore.
On the advice of Verstappen, Norris quit, because the game wouldn't be realistic enough. Simulations of iRacing and rFactor offer more to the real driver, but that doesn't alter the fact that Norris likes to race. He sees that the drivers also motivate each other a lot.
''The competitions are well put together, but there are also many WhatsApp groups with drivers in order to be able to set things up with each other. So we as drivers have really helped set up these competitions. This has certainly helped and now that there is nothing else for us to do, we can help a lot at the Esports. I think this will only be more in the coming weeks," says Norris at Motorsport.com.
