Esteban Ocon believes
Lewis Hamilton and
Valtteri Bottas will continue to fight throughout the season.
Ocon, who missed out on a seat in 2019, has been sitting at the back of the
Mercedes garage in a supportive role. The Frenchman was half expecting to take over Bottas at the end of the current
Formula 1 season, but with Bottas' early season form, it's looking less likely.
The former
Racing Point driver now expects Bottas to be breathing down Hamilton's neck until Abu Dhabi.
"There is a very good atmosphere in the team. I think a team that breaks records is very motivated and performs at the highest level. Everything is going very well, but I don't think Lewis intends to stay behind Valtteri. Valtteri will think the same way," Ocon told Canal +.
