Last weekend, the French Grand Prix started an hour later than normal because of the England game at the football World Cup in Russia, so when does the Austria Grand Prix start this weekend?
The weekend starts with the two Free Practice sessions on Friday at the Red Bull Ring. The first one, FP1, starts in the morning (At least in the UK!), as the action gets underway at ten in the morning.
Between FP1 and FP2, the executives' press conference will take place. The line-up for this hasn't been announced yet, though.
FP2 then starts at two o'clock BST. For an hour and a half, the drivers should be doing better times than in the morning session, as the track "will have more rubber", as drivers say. FP2 is usually a good indicator of where the teams are in terms of race pace, as most teams attempt some long runs in this sessions.
Saturday is not only for qualifying, but also for the third practice, which will take place in the morning again. Usually, pace does improve, but teams tend to take it easier, as potential crashes in FP3 could mean that your car can't be fixed in time for qualifying (*cough* Verstappen in Monaco *cough*).
The qualifying itself starts at two o'clock BST on Saturday, which should be one of the more exciting qualifying rounds of the year, as the top three teams are expected to be very close in terms of pace.
Sunday's race will start at ten past two BST as usual. Last weekend saw the race start an hour late as England were playing at the football World Cup, but that won't happen again this Sunday.
