Piastri threatens Norris' lead in the championship with Bahrain win

After his 2025 F1 Bahrain Grand Prix win Oscar Piastri effectively trails his teammate Lando Norris in the Drivers' championship by 3 points, ahead of regning champion Max Verstappen.

George Russell settled himself into P4 just 6 points shy of Verstappen. Behind the Mercedes driver, Charles Leclerc's podium in Sakhir propelled him to P5 in the standings, ahead of Andrea Kimi Antonelli, with Ferrari teammate Lewis Hamilton bagging 10 points after a sold recovery race which saw him finish P5 in Bahrain.
