Pirelli reveals "aggressive" tyre selection for Barcelona!

Pirelli sporting director Mario Isola has revealed that the tyres for this weekend will be rather aggressive, which should make for a "different" kind of race at the Circuit de Catalunya.

Isola talked Racefans.net through the selection of tyres, and why they made that selection.

“We are going with a quite aggressive selection because we have the medium, the soft and the super-soft – which is like last year with the ultra-soft,” he said.

While it's usually one or two out of the three compounds that get used by almost everyone, Isola thinks that it'll be more of a toss-up this time.

“We expect a different race compared to the past,” he said after predicting that all three tyres will come into play this weekend.

That's music to our ears, Mario. Barcelona usually doesn't disappoint as it is because of all the new upgrades, and this should be another factor why it won't either this year! We can't wait for the season to continue this weekend!
