Red Bull Racing and
Mercedes have broken curfew as the
Formula 1 teams worked on the cars outside the time allowed. The
FIA announced that. For both
F1 teams, it is the first time they have broken curfew so there are no consequences.
Due to all the delays on the first day in Las Vegas, the
FIA decided to extend the curfew until 07:00 local time. Red Bull and Mercedes had not completed work on the RB19 and W14 respectively at that time, breaking the curfew. All teams have a joker that they are allowed to use twice in a season to break the curfew and since it is the first time for both teams, they were able to use it.
