Christian Horner insists his Red Bull drivers are in good spirits despite the crash last weekend that ended both of their races. The team warned the pair last week if the incident was to happen again, team orders will be introduced.
The boss believes the team have managed the week building up to the race well and look forward to racing again. Both drivers apologised in the factory last week.
“They stood in front of the staff and apologised and they spoke very openly,” Horner told motorsport.com.
“We’ve had a discussion in my office about the incident and they will talk in private about it in order to learn from it.
“Both drivers handled the aftermath to Baku in an exemplary manner, in the way they dealt with the media, they’ve come here and stood in front of every employee and apologised.”
Of course, it isn’t the first time Red Bull have had to deal with this incident. Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber collided whilst they were team-mates in the Austrian team.
Horner believes he knows the best way for the drivers to make up.
“The best way for them to make up for that is by delivering on track.”
