Red Bull Racing are now firmly ahead of Mercedes in the battle for the Constructors' title. The Austrian team now lead by 44 points from their closest rivals, whilst it was also a good day for
McLaren in their fight with Ferrari for P3.
Red Bull trails Mercedes
In both championships it is unprecedentedly exciting, although Red Bull are extending their lead. Red Bull won the team's home Grand Prix with
Max Verstappen at the
Red Bull Ring.
Sergio Perez crossed the line in fifth, but lost a place after a penalty totalling ten seconds.
Mercedes also only counted one car on the podium.
Valtteri Bottas finished second while
Lewis Hamilton drove his damaged Mercedes to fourth.
Lando Norris and
Daniel Ricciardo helped out in McLaren's battle for third place with
Ferrari.
