Red Bull Racing paid tribute to
Dietrich Mateschitz ahead of the
United States Grand Prix. It has been a year since the Red Bull founder passed away.
Dietrich Mateschitz died at the age of 78. The Red Bull founder had been ill for some time at the time and was being treated for cancer in his own home. As a result, Mateschitz just missed last year's US Grand Prix, where
Red Bull Racing managed to win the constructors' world title again for the first time since 2013.
A year later, now on the day of the
United States Grand Prix, the Austrian racing team have made a fine tribute to their late founder. Mateschitz, despite his enormous status, was always seen wearing jeans. So mission for every Red Bull Racing employee: come to the
Circuit of the Americas in your jeans.
