Daniel Ricciardo believes Red Bull are in the best shape since he joined in 2014.
Since the Australian took the step up from Toro Rosso, he has won 5 Grand Prix's, now heading into the 2018 season he is excited for what is to come, saying:
"We are certainly more ready than we were last year, and probably every year before that since I've been with the team."
Prior to Ricciardo joining in 2014, Red Bull had just won four straight Driver's and Constructor's Championships. Ricciardo spoke about his teams pre-season testing saying:
"We did a lot of laps and I think the pace of the car is not bad, but we still have some things to improve, which is normal. But, yes, going to the race and having confidence to push the car on the limit and push the engine a little bit."
Red Bull's biggest competition for the season comes from Ferrari and Red Bull heading into the Melbourne GP, Ricciardo also spoke of his rivals:
"We'll see. I think Ferrari and Mercedes will be quick and other teams I don't know... some teams put in some quick times during testing, so Melbourne is going to be interesting."
