Daniel Ricciardo is eager to kick on with the rest of the Formula One season after fighting back to end up fourth in his home country of Australia.
The Aussie was penalized for not slowing down enough during a red flag and had to start from eighth but fought back to end fourth on Albert Park. Now, the circus goes to Bahrain, where next week's Grand Prix will be taking place. Ricciardo is looking forward to it.
"Bahrain is fantastic," he said.
"The climate is mild, the paddock is modern and after such a tough weekend in Australia, it is truly a pleasant week."
"This is a rather difficult event because while the free practice takes place in the heat of the day, the most important sessions, ie the qualification and the race, are held in the evening when the track cools down."
"In general, when you are competitive you do not want to make changes to the car, but in Sakhir you are forced to do so because the conditions change a lot when the sun goes down."
"I have always achieved good results on this track and so I hope to continue like this."
