On Sunday after the race,
Daniel Ricciardo fiercely criticised the TV footage of
Romain Grosjean's crash, which was broadcast repeatedly. At the press conference on Thursday, the Australian announced that his opinion on the matter remained unchanged.
Inappropriate to show footage of the crash
The footage of the crash was not shown until it was certain that Grosjean had climbed out of his
Haas F1 car and that he was safe. Nevertheless, Ricciardo was critical after the
Bahrain Grand Prix and his position is unchanged after the explanation of
Formula 1.
"My position hasn't changed," says the
Renault driver quoted by
Motorsport-Total.com.
Ricciardo believes that it would have been enough to show Grosjean who was in the medical car after the accident. He also believes it was inappropriate to Grosjean's family.
