After
Lewis Hamilton,
Daniel Ricciardo is now getting his own series.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that Ricciardo is teaming up for an F1 series for Hulu.
Formula 1 is becoming increasingly popular and in large part thanks to the Netflix series Drive to Survive. The series capturing the behind-the-scenes stories of F1 is a big hit and Netflix's competitors are hoping to copy it in their way. Apple already announced a film in collaboration with Brad Pitt and
Lewis Hamilton and now Hulu is following suit.
Hulu is a platform that is part of Disney and under that umbrella a series is being made with the
McLaren driver that consists of scripted half-hour episodes in the world of
Formula 1. Details of the series are not yet known. The series comes from ABC Signature, Lionsgate Television and Temple Hills Marty Bowen, Wyck Godfrey, Phoebe Zimmer and Sydney Title. Ricciardo will be in charge of production.
