Williams driver Sergey Sirotkin insists that he's not worried about his future despite poor first season in F1.
In his rookie season, Sergey Sirotkin is yet to score a point for his Williams team and he's the only driver who hasn't got off the mark yet.
The Williams car has come under mass amounts of scrutiny this season following their abysmal season thus far.
Sirotkin says that himself and his team are "shocked" with the car's performance this season.
Despite the poor performance of the car, the Russian says he still would have signed the contract with Williams.
"Yes of course," Sirotkin told OneStopStrategy.com.
"It's not easy and I'm facing a situation that every driver doesn't have to deal with. But I appreciate that I am on the team and I accept the challenge."
Sirotkin confirms that he does not know what it's store for himself next season and he is trying to not think about it too much.
"No one has a guarantee in Formula One," Sirotkin added.
"And at the same time and especially in our situation, the worst thing you can do is start thinking about the next season. I have a job to do, I know how to do it and I know what the team expects to me.
"I do what I do because I love it, not because I get paid. It's not a 9 to 6 job, I do what I do because I put my soul into it. As I said, I know my role very well and how much this is appreciated within the team. As for the future, I am calm."
