With the Spanish GP taking place this weekend, take a look at the race through the years.
The Spanish Grand Prix was held for the first time in 1913, and has since been held 59 times.The races early years were disrupted with World War One, and in 1935 the Spanish Civil War brought a stop to racing.
However the Grand Prix was brought back and since 1968 the race has been held at a variety of venues, but most significantly the Circuit de Catalunya where the race is held now.
The Circuit de Catalunya first hosted the race in 1991, after being constructed with support from the Spanish government.
Michael Schumacher is the most successful driver in Spain, winning the race 6 times, the last being in 2004. Four drivers have won the race 3 times including Mika Hakkinen and Jackie Stewart.
Fernando Alonso, Kimi Raikkonen and Lewis Hamilton are the most successful current drivers winning the race twice each, with Hamilton taking last years race.
Ferrari are the most successful team in Spanish GP history, winning last in 2013. Both McLaren and Williams are the next best constructors winning the race 8 times each.
