The line-up for the press conferences ahead of the US Grand Prix has been announced by the
FIA. In particular, the line-up for the team bosses' press conference promises to provide fireworks.
On Thursday, the drivers' press conference will be held at 15:00 local time. One half of the driver field will turn up for the press conference, while the other half will appear in the square for the 1-on-1 interviews.
Max Verstappen, as the newly crowned world champion, is not at the press conference. That honour this week belongs to his teammate
Sergio Perez.
Pressure on Red Bull
Thus, at all the teams, the roles are divided. In the press conference, we also see
Carlos Sainz and
Lando Norris, among others, appearing at Perez's side, where in the second press conference block the focus will be on
Lewis Hamilton and the new Alpine duo for 2023:
Esteban Ocon and
Pierre Gasly.
We will find the most interesting line-up on Saturday, when, at 11:30 local time,
Mattia Binotto,
Zak Brown and
Christian Horner will join in. Binotto and Brown are openly speaking out adamantly about
Red Bull Racing's budget cap overshoot and demanding the highest penalty from the FIA. This will be a topic of conversation at this press conference. The question, however, is how much Horner can/may say about it. After all, the case between the FIA and Red Bull is still ongoing.
