The Formula 1 calendar features no less than three Grands Prix in the United States next season. Where this year's race weekends in Miami and Austin are already on the programme, the Las Vegas GP will be added next race year. For Guenther Steiner, however, this is still not enough.

Speaking to Motorsportweek.com, the Haas F1 team boss argues that Formula 1 would be wise to add more American races to the calendar. Indeed, according to Steiner, America is so big that the motorsport class can find enough diversity in the country.

"I don’t know what Las Vegas will be but it will be big as well," he reveals. "We always have to think that the US is a big country and to have three races, it’s still not enough, I believe. There is something for everybody and I think each event has something in particular about it."

Haas hopes for success in US GP

As an American racing stable, Haas benefits considerably from the number of races in the United States. However, it failed to be successful in Miami earlier this season. At the time, Mick Schumacher and Kevin Magnussen were good for a 15th and 16th finishing position respectively, with which Haas ended the race weekend scoreless. This weekend, the team hopes to do a lot better in Austin.
