Mistakes in Melbourne cost the team massively and they are determined to prevent the same happening again in a weeks time.
Guenther Steiner has said that the Haas pit crew will have "extra practice" in Bahrain to ensure any mistakes are squashed before the race in the desert.
Last weekend, the team were on course for a strong points finish with both cars fighting for a top five place until back-to-back pit stop errors meant they ended their season-opening race in double retirement instead.
The team principal has said that the team will conduct extra practice and that any mistakes that were made in Australia would be left there in the past.
"As a team, we made mistakes," Steiner said. "We had too much work to do on the car and didn’t practice enough. I think the key to all of this is to get the practice in before the race so that we’re prepared for all aspects of the race.
"You just have to explain what happened and be honest about it. We made mistakes, but we do have processes in place.
"Last year, in the second half of the season, we had some of the best pit stops on pit lane. We can do it. I think the lack of practice produced the result in Australia. Nevertheless, stuff like this happens. You get over it and move on."
Last season Romain Grosjean managed to score points for the team with an eighth-place finish at Sakhir. With the current car they have, a double points finish in 2018 isn't out of the question.
