Behind the battle between
Lewis Hamilton and
Max Verstappen,
Lando Norris is stealing the show. The young Briton has been on a roll this year with strong performances in every race so far. The friend of Verstappen has not finished outside the top 5 once this season, which puts him in third place in the championship.
The man of the midfield
Ex-driver Timo Glock doesn't hide his admiration for Norris either. At
Sky Sports Deutschland he says
: "For me Lando Norris is clearly the man of the midfield. He's performing extremely well at the moment, driving good races and showing strong overtaking manoeuvres."A gargantuan task
Daniel Ricciardo must have imagined his departure from
Red Bull Racing differently. At Renault he only reached the podium once and at
McLaren he's currently inferior to Norris. He
[Norris] makes few mistakes, maximises the package at his disposal and is currently setting his team-mate Daniel Ricciardo a mammoth task." Still, Glock doesn't rule out Ricciardo recovering. The season is also only three races away.
"But we've already seen this when he was at Renault. He had his little problems there at the beginning, but over time he recovered very well. That's why McLaren will have to wait and see how this internal team duel develops."
