Only last season the
Italian Grand Prix was dominated by
Ferrari, which really turned it into an Italian party. Things will be very different this year. If it wasn't for the fact that there are no fans at the Monza circuit, it was the lack of speed of the Scuderia.
Charles Leclerc and
Sebastian Vettel will line up as thirteenth and seventeenth for the start of the
Italian Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon. A significant fact is that Leclerc was still the fastest driver with a Ferrari power source in qualifying.
At the front, it is
Mercedes that turns the clock, with the first row occupied by the factory team. The
Renault powered teams were also able to come along well this Saturday, so we see
Carlos Sainz in third place.
They will probably have to look in their mirrors, because in the race the drivers with the
Honda power source will probably do well. It is expected that Verstappen will emerge from fifth, but also take into account Albon, Gasly and Kvyat in positions nine, ten and eleven.
