This weekend, the Formula 1 party heads over the Atlantic to Montreal for the
Canadian Grand Prix.
The paddock area at the Gilles Villeneuve circuit has undergone a transformation since the event in 2018 and the teams will experience the modern feature for the first time this year. Since 1978, F1 has been going to Montreal. At the time, the circuit was still called the Ile Notre-Dame Circuit but was renamed the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in 1982, in memory of the Canadian driver.
Can Ferrari fight back?
Mercedes has managed to open up a huge gap over
Ferrari in the constructors' championship and they're really playing catch up now. They need race wins and fast. The engine will come under more examination on this track and stats show they're fast on the straights. That could be helpful.
