It has been a fantastic start to the start of the season for
Valtteri Bottas after he picked up another win in Baku, but the Finn has insisted that it’s too early to decide his title rivals.
The
Mercedes driver is ahead of his teammate
Lewis Hamilton by one point, a significant improvement on last season where he failed to win a race. The pair have a healthy lead over their rivals with
Ferrari struggling for consistency and
Red Bull in transition.
Despite his early success, the Finn is not ruling anyone out of World Championship contention.
"At this point in the season, it's hard to say, I think they all have the potential to fight for the title,” Bottas said in an interview on motorsport-total.com.
"Charles is young and wants to beat Sebastian.
"It's still too early to say that only one rider is the title rival,” he added.
