Two
Aston Martin employees have reportedly tested positive for Covid-19, several sources have reported on
social media. It is not the first time that the team has been plagued by the coronavirus.
Not vaccinated
In the run up to the
Bahrain Grand Prix, teams were given the opportunity to be vaccinated. In contrast to teams like
Ferrari and AlphaTauri,
Aston Martin didn't take this chance. The rumour has not been officially confirmed yet, but in any case it would not involve the drivers or people in high positions within the team. The infected employees would be in isolation.
Last year the team, then called Racing Point, was also affected by the coronavirus. Both
Lance Stroll and Sergio
Perez had to win races because of an infection.
