The
F1 teams have announced what updates they will appear with at the
Red Bull Ring.
Red Bull Racing and
Ferrari have brought some updates for the
Austrian Grand Prix, but
McLaren takes the crown. Mercedes and Aston Martin are in Spielberg without any new parts.
Red Bull Racing has brought a modification for the rear suspension. It is a minor update by
Max Verstappen's team to the
RB19, to make sure the airflow there is more stable.
Ferrari has brought two updates. The Italians have a new front wing and also made adjustments to the floor.
Updates in Austria
Most of the updates are there for
McLaren, which previously marked the
Austrian Grand Prix as an important race weekend. With a new side pod entrance, a modified Halo, a completely revised floor, redesigned side pods and engine cover and new 'cooling louvres', the Woking-based team hopes to take a big step forward.
AlphaTauri has also brought several updates for
Nyck de Vries and
Yuki Tsunoda. Red Bull's sister team has brought a new rear wing, a new 'Beam Wing' and new cooling louvres to Spielberg.
Williams has a new floor and modifications to the front brake duct. Haas is the only other team to bring another new part. Although the new nose is mainly there for reliability and not necessarily for more performance.
