Red Bull Racing is seemingly relaxed towards the first race weekend in Bahrain. Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen took to the track during the final day of testing in Bahrain with a number of upgrades that seem to be working out very positively. This is what Gary Anderson concluded for The Race.

Christian Horner's team already came up with a competitive car during the car's launch and developed it further in recent weeks. Anderson saw that Red Bull did not decide to go down a completely different path with the upgrades, but rather continued to build on the car's strengths.

During the third day of testing it became apparent that Red Bull was making a number of improvements to the floor, front wing and side pods. It paid off immediately, because on Perez's first fast lap the Mexican managed to set the fastest time. Red Bull was also satisfied with the rest of the day.

The journalist therefore thinks that Perez and Verstappen will do well in Bahrain. "The fact it bolted it all on the car on Saturday and ended up fastest with a car that looks well-balanced on track and that it appears to understand is very encouraging for the team," Anderson said.
