Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen have not crashed with each other for the last time. This is what former Formula One driver, Alexander Wurz, states in conversation with Sky Sports. However, the Austrian does hope that the two continue to be respectful of each other.
Hamilton and Verstappen collided for the second time in 2021, and while Verstappen was the only casualty at Silverstone, this time Hamilton and Verstappen both suffered DNFs. Wurz argues that it's a bit part of a rivalry like this.
''I think it's very likely, to be honest,'' Wurz says of another crash by Hamilton and Verstappen. "''Both have to mark their territory. That's sport, if you watch boxing, football, handball, whatever there is - when two greats are coming together, those things happen.''
''Outside the car I talk to both and they talk to each other, and they have great respect for each other, which is really nice to see. But on the other side, on the track it's, 'hey, we are here to fight, we are here to win the Formula 1 world championship'. It's one of the most prestigious titles you can have in the world of sport.''
However, Wurz does hope the two keep it respectful. ''They have to fight, it's part of the game. Hopefully, with the respect they need for their own team and their own results, and not only for each other, because to finish first you have to finish, so they can't afford too many crashes," Wurz concludes.
Mag toch hopen dat VER te slim voor LH wordt....zodat LH de grintbak ingaat en VER zijn middelvinger kan opsteken
"It's one of the most prestigious titles you can have in the world of sport.'' I like that
Lewis and Max collided for the second time in 2021 and one got 25 points and the other got 3 grid penalty ......What a joke!!
Looking at the pattern of events happening and probability, I will predict the next time these two will get together again will be at the Brazil GP when there will again be a sprint race. This time, Hamilton will be the one getting the DNF and Max will finish the race ..... just looking at trends.
How is that? In the 2 crashes, one time HAM got tge penalty, the second time VER, it's even
Following pattern of events. Silverstone: Max DNF and Hamilton finishes the race. Monza : Both drivers have DNF. Therefore, next Sprint Weekend: Hamilton’s turn to get the DNF and Max to finish. Things normally comes in 3s and there is often a pattern to them.
Filly justified, there are experienced stewards to judge those incidents
3 grid penalty for Max and a race ban for Lewis...That sounds a bit better!!! Exactly!.. Exactly!
