After a dramatic weekend in Singapore, that Grand Prix remains on
Max Verstappen's wish list. Nevertheless, the
Red Bull Racing driver is not lying awake over his ended winning streak. Instead, he is thinking of returning to winning ways in Japan.
Verstappen already focused on GP Japan
Verstappen has never won at the
Marina Bay Street Circuit, and he did not succeed in 2023 either. Not only does Singapore remain a hurdle, but his win streak of 10 in a row has ended, a disappointment for many drivers if they were in that position. But Verstappen does not show it. His mind is already on the next race, the Grand Prix of Japan at the
Suzuka circuit.
ESPN quotes the two-time
F1 champion:
"I think we will be quick in Suzuka. This track [Singapore] is so different to Suzuka that you can't really relate. It [Suzuka] should be good for our car. The track is always super-fun to drive, so I hope as soon as we put the car on the track that it's in a good window."
