Max Verstappen has said that his day in the Red Bull yesterday in testing was “not a perfect day, but still a good one” after completing a total of 128 laps in Barcelona. Verstappen and Red Bull changed their set-ups for the morning and afternoon sessions, with the afternoon focusing more on race preparation.
Other than a small error leading the RB15 off track in the afternoon, causing a bit of a delay for the team the Dutchman still compiled a lot of time in the car.
Verstappen said in an interview afterwards: "Not a perfect day, but still a good one.
"There are always things you want to check, instead of driving until something breaks.
“We did a routine check this afternoon and then got back out again at the end of the session.
“But even with the delay we had, we still managed to do over 120 laps, so I think it was still a very positive day.
“The more laps, the better and today we did a lot, so overall I’m happy."
