Max Verstappen agrees with team principal Christian Horner that there wasn't a crisis meeting, but it was rather a usual evaluation.
In Bahrain, Verstappen had a difficult weekend, with constantly referring to problems. The Dutchman qualified in P7, and eventually crossed the finish line in sixth position last Sunday.
“We always have discussions after each race about what went well and what didn’t. We analyse things, and this time is no different,” Verstappen explained to Dutch media, including GPblog, at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit.
“In Bahrain, no one within the team was happy with the performance, but I think that’s quite normal.”
He also added that nothing extraordinary took place other than their regular evaluation.
“Of course we’ve also had good races, but sometimes you have a bad race. Unfortunately.”

Horner also denies crisis meeting after Bahrain

Talking to Sky Sports on Friday, team principal and CEO Christian Horner also emphasized the same point.
“No, it's not a crisis summit. I mean, if you sit down with your engineers and discuss the race, I wouldn't describe that as a crisis summit. I think the crisis summit was described as the meeting after the race in Bahrain. So, you know, you sit down and discuss these things logically. There's always, engineering solutions to engineering issues,” he stated.
