Red Bull's Max Verstappen has received two penalty points on his racing licence on top of his in-race penalty, which was five seconds, after the Dutchman collided with Valtteri Bottas during the Italian Grand Prix.
This means the 20-year-old has five penalty points now on his racing licence in the 12-month period the system works within. If you get twelve penalty points, you're automatically suspended for a race.
The in-race penalty, which was five seconds, cost him two places, as both Bottas and Sebastian Vettel were within that time-slot of the Dutchman. A double-whammy for him.
He wasn't particularly happy either with the incident. Read Verstappen's reaction
