Max Verstappen got the chance to take a closer look at
Honda's new sports car, the
Honda NSX S, during the
United States Grand Prix weekend. He did so together with teammate
Sergio Perez,
Alexander Albon and AlphaTauri colleagues
Pierre Gasly and
Yuki Tsunoda.
At the
Circuit of the Americas in Austin, the drivers get to see the new model of Honda, as well as the Acura-version of the car. The gentlemen are very enthusiastic about the car and especially Verstappen doesn't hide his opinion.
Verstappen sells new Honda car
The Dutchman could easily pass as a salesman for the brand because he shows the car from all sides to his colleagues while explaining them.
"They were sold out in one day", he tells Gasly. Honda didn't fail to notice this either. In a reaction on
Twitter Honda Racing F1 says:
"We need to get him in the dealerships in the off-season."Verstappen does make another attempt to get something back for his efforts. "We all get one, right?", he jokes to Honda chief Masashi Yamamoto.
