Sebastian Vettel made another spin during the
Eifel Grand Prix on Sunday and that was not his first. Vettel's level just seems to be getting less and less this year and some people are wondering how this is possible?
At the end of 2020 Vettel will leave Ferrari and where a Daniel Ricciardo and his team can celebrate a podium place, there seems to be no longer a fine collaboration at Ferrari. The gap between Charles Leclerc and Vettel is widening and Vettel's mistakes are piling up. Is he still there with his head?
Vettel is making more and more mistakes
''Ferrari's car is very nervous at the back and that suits Leclerc better than Vettel. Sebastian may also lack a bit of energy because of the way Ferrari handled him. Such a spin is a mistake a rookie would make. His head is probably somewhere else'', says Christian Klien according to
Speedweek.com.
The former
Formula 1 driver is supported by
Peter Windsor, who even questions Vettel's mentality in
his video.
''Daniel is a real pro, because you don't see him failing at Renault. I don't want to say that Vettel isn't a pro, but compared to Daniel, Vettel's level has fallen a long way since that announcement'', says Williams' former team manager.
