The weather forecast for the 2023 United States Grand Prix is warm, dry and sunny. Formula 1 drivers and teams have had an off-weekend to recover from the intense heat in Qatar. F1 returns this weekend, and it's the start of a triple header. Thankfully, it shouldn't be as warm as Qatar.

Horrible conditions in Qatar

The intense heat in Qatar caused drivers to faint, be sick and even retire from the Grand Prix. It has caused a bit of a debate over the off week, but drivers shouldn't have to experience similar this weekend in the United States. Though it is going to be warm. Friday will be the hottest day, and it will cool slowly throughout the weekend. The conditions on Sunday are expected to be different.

According to weather.com, wall-to-wall sunshine is forecast for Friday. This causes the temperature to rise to 35c in the afternoon. The only practice session is due to start at 12:30 local time when the forecast is for 31c. There is no chance of rain, and the wind speed is slow. Qualifying takes place during the peak of the heat. It is forecast to be 35c with no chance of rain.

It is expected to be marginally cooler for the sprint on Saturday. Temperatures may still reach 35c, but the small amount of cloud cover might cause some breaks in the sunshine. More cloud cover is predicted on Sunday, which drops the temperature. It is 'only' expected to reach 32c on Sunday. The cloud cover could also mean the track temperature doesn't rise as much as the previous two days.
