There’s a sense of normality returning with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend, though the floodlights will need to be used again for Formula 1. The race takes place around sunset, so cooler temperatures are possible though it won’t be anywhere near as cold as Las Vegas.
With the events going past midnight on Friday and Saturday and getting close to midnight local time on Sunday, Las Vegas was cold. It’s a lot warmer during the night in Abu Dhabi. The race will take place in the after sunset and are therefore, the teams have another night race on their hands, but in different conditions.
The race starts at 17:00 local time when it is predicted to be as warn as 26c according to weather.com. Based on these predictions, the temperates will not change much during the two hours of racing at the Yas Marina Circuit.
Throughout the whole weekend, there is very little chance of rain. The temperatures, wind speed and direction all remain consistent throughout F1’s stay as well.
