It is the third week of May and so traditionally the Monaco Grand Prix is on the program. At least, traditionally, we had to wait two years for the Grand Prix due to the corona pandemic. Fortunately, Sunday is finally here again and we might see a titanic battle between Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen.
Many will say that the highlight of the Monaco GP is already behind us. On this tight circuit, the race is largely determined by the result of the qualifying. Even more so than at other circuits.
Yet in Monaco you can never be sure that it will be a "parade". There are years that even in dry conditions it becomes a chaos. Think back to the 2004 or 2011 race, when just before the end of the race the red flag was waved.
If you want to see the race live, you can sit down at the usual time of 14:00. And it will be a long one, because the low average speed makes this one of the longest races of the year.
