Silly Season looks as if it has almost concluded now with most of the teams knowing their definite line-up for the 2019 season, but there are still some unconfirmed places...
Now this man faces the biggest conundrum out of all the drivers who are uncertain about their future.
Esteban Ocon is currently at Force India but is almost definitely going to be replaced by Lance Stroll in the very near future. Ocon's season has been decent, with the driver sitting bang on midtable.
But Ocon's close-ties with Mercedes has put teams such as Renault and McLaren off signing the Frenchman.
Toro Rosso looks an option for Ocon, with Brendon Hartley's future still up in the air, and Pierre Gasly making the step up to Red Bull next season. Daniil Kvyat is the favourite to take Gasly's seat with the driver having a seat fitting recently.
Ocon has had an excellent last couple of races at Spa and Monza, picking up eight points for Force India as they look to climb back up the table following their change of ownership.
The Frenchman, at 21 (nearly 22), looks a real talent and the potential there is huge. His driving ability is very mature for such a tender age and with more experience to be gained, it's frightening the heights he could achieve.
Red Bull should be doing everything they possibly can to get this kid from Mercedes - get him, put him in Toro Rosso for 2, 3, 4 years - see the progress of Gasly and then decide if Ocon should be in there instead.
I believe Ocon's talent is superior to that of Gasly's, even now.
