While
Williams have no less than four drivers under contract for the upcoming season besides their permanent line-up, it will be
George Russell and
Nicholas Latifi who will drive in the first week of winter testing as
Williams released their drivers' schedule.
Jack Aitken, Daniel Ticktum, Jamie Chadwick and Roy Nissany are all testing- and simulation drivers at the Grove-based team, but for now, Williams are keeping their winter testing line-up as simple as they can. Unless anything out of the ordinary happens, none of the back-up drivers should be in action.
After
Haas and
Ferrari, Williams are now the third team to release their testing schedule for the first week. Just like the other two constructors, Williams have opted to split one of the three days between their two drivers, with one taking the morning shift and one driving during the afternoon. They will do this straightaway on the firs tday. Ferrari will be doing it on the second day, while Haas do it on the third day. That means this is what the drivers' schedule looks like for now.
