F1 analyst saw one of the worst results by Red Bull Racing in a long time on Saturday at the Bahrain International Circuit. Max Verstappen only set the seventh fastest time, while Yuki Tsunoda finished in P10.
"Seventh and 10th for Red Bull. That's got to be one of the worst performances ever, well for a long time anyway. The statisticians get involved in that one. So not a good day, not a good weekend so far for Red Bull and difficult to see how they can make it a lot better tomorrow., Windsor looked at the Austrian team's situation on his YouTube channel.
Throughout the weekend, Verstappen has struggled with multiple issues, he explained after qualifying as well.
"He was very lucky to get out of Q1. The braking problem did continue overnight. I speculated that it might. I hoped, of course, from their point of view, that they would be able to do something ,Red Bull normally are. It seems odd that there is this braking issue with the car. They've never had one as bad as this. And the way Max talks, it's a really, really bad feeling," Windsor underlined.
The analyst also sees Red Bull can only make changes if they are allowed in Parc Ferme. "But from where he is, P7, it's not going to be easy for him at all, even if they do get the car right. So it'll be interesting to see what parts they change on the Red Bull in Parc Ferme overnight, under the control of Joe Bauer, of course," he concluded.
Entering the fourth Grand Prix of the season, Lando Norris is ahead of the Dutchman by a single point in the drivers' standings. The McLaren driver will start from P6 this evening in Sakhir.
