Max Verstappen has hinted at a special announcement ahead of the
Brazilian Grand Prix weekend with a cryptic post on social media platform X. The Brazilian GP will follow this weekend's race in Mexico and forms the final part of a triple header.
Verstappen is currently trying to prevent
Lando Norris from gaining on him in the World Championship. The gap stands at 57 points with five Grands Prix and two sprint races left on the 2024
F1 calendar.
Verstappen teases announcement
Verstappen and his team are also focusing on something off-track. Verstappen.com's X account made a post hinting at an announcement, which will be made at 10 a.m. CET on Monday.
Judging from the pictures included, it will probably be about a clothing line specially designed for the
Brazilian Grand Prix. One picture shows Verstappen's logo on an item of clothing. Another shows a figure in the colours of the Brazilian flag, presumably also on a shirt.
