You can see you live in your own little world.... "Everyone has respect for Checo, no-one for Bottas. Bottas like Ricciardo are tortured souls in the paddock." I think you will find every driver on the grid is very well respected by anyone who knows an ounce about motorsport, nevermind just people in the paddock.06-04-2022 19:20

Mercedes makes all effort to ensure their drivers receive seats in other teams if they can't cater for them themselves. If you really want to count the amount of drivers Mercedes has genuinely helped then you will be looking at a vast number that goes back long before they even had a team in F1, which includes Schumacher, if you were wondering why he chose to go to Mercedes at the end of his career. Albon is the first driver Red Bull hasn't just ditched when they have no longer needed him. The rest were left to figure out their own futures. Ocon and Bottas were both looked after very well by Mercedes when they were no longer part of the team. Horner is still throwing shade towards Ricciardo just this week even. Gasly is stuck in a contract that Marko has even said he will not relinquish early, even if Gasly was offered a better drive. Red Bull just use their drivers if their name isn't Max. (Not Max's fault, any driver would accept this) but it it does contradoct the idea of RBR being a stable environment to work in. Especially as a driver. Even Jack Doohan just left the RBR academy as they don't offer the same opportunities for growth as what Alpine do. When you look at where Zhou is and the push to get Piastri in another team unlike where the rest of the Red Bull junior drivers are, I think you can understand why quite clearly. You just need to listen to ex Red Bull drivers and ex Mercedes drivers to get a more accurate idea of what you are talking about.06-04-2022 19:17

Dude, do you not remember Baki when Max moved under braking and RBR refused to put any fault at Max's feet.. I reckon that sealed Ricciardos decision.06-04-2022 19:24

Im pretty sure they have had the most unstable driver line up in the history of the sport. Kvyatt gets podiums and is demoted? I don't know how that is a stable environment...06-04-2022 17:09

If you watch F1, please adjust your views on Karma. It's the same belief as someone deserving the title because they had bad luck or something. This is motorsport, SH just happens sometimes. Celebrate your wins, but you don't have to celebrate someone's losses.21-03-2022 09:05

Not really. After everything last year, the idea of watching the sport for the sake of hoping someone fails is the most boring thing. Yes it was 'lucky' for people I support, but I'd rather watch who I support win on merit and not because reliability issues. It is part of the sport, just not a part to be celebrated. For sure, If you gain from it, then celebrate your luck.21-03-2022 18:13

The funny thing, Lewis isn't suggesting anything about Karma in the slightest. It's sites like GPBlog who have always written with a Max leaning slant, who seem to actually know deep down that what happened wasn't right, by writing headlines like this, as well as people writing comments like yours, acknowledging that there is reason for so called Karma.21-03-2022 09:15

How about people stop making Mercedes celebrating getting into podium positions all about RBR. Sure GPBLOG is feeding this mess. It might seem strange to some.... but sometimes teams and drivers can be happy when they get onto the podium...21-03-2022 08:57
