Alpine's Dieppe factory runs at its max speed, and 2023 production is expected to be 4200. Alpine presented, on June 23, a very aggressive and ambitious development plan, with a target of 8 billion euro sales in 2030, which means 40% annual growth (CAGR) -the plan can look very optimistic. This plan relies on 3 aspects nurturing each other: the sport side, including F1, the sale of halo cars (the next all-electric A110 and A310), as well as more high volume cars (SUVs), including the US and China. Bruno Famin, the new VP of Motorsports at Alpine, recently reaffirmed this plan. So Alpine's move away from F1 would be a total change of direction for Alpine. Could happen. What a shitty clickbait translation. The word used by Laurent Rossi, in the German paper (probably translated from English" was "Thema" not "Problem". "Thema" is neutral. Williams still had Renault engines for 1997. Villeneuve was figures in Renault commercials celebrating his world title with a Renault engine. So a Williams engine switch to BMW is clearly NOT a positive le reason for Williams not retaining Damon Hill.06-02-2020 14:46
